Schooling coming back brings some good press. Hopefully he can bring his results back up to where he was 4 years ago, and hopefully make the Olympic final. He is not in track to make the final at this point. Obviously has the talent though.

And yes, Sergio brings a bigger name than we’ve probably ever had in a new coaching hire at tech, ever, in any sport.

With that being said, we’re paying him handsomely, and I hope the results come accordingly. We will likely continue recruiting primarily international swimmers to score points at NCAAs. It’s very easy to rise in the top 25 rankings with a couple stud swimmers.

It will be interesting to see if the pro team stays in Blacksburg after the Olympics
